Smuin Ballet at the Joyce Theater (Review for DanceTabs)

My first review for DanceTabs — of Smuin Ballet’s triple-bill at the Joyce Theater — was published earlier today. It’s a program worth seeing if only for Trey McIntyre’s ballet Oh, Inverted World, which is set to music by indie-rock band The Shins: “The ballet is fun and fresh, and it proves McIntyre – who also leads his own company, the Trey McIntyre Project – to be a choreographer of many talents.” Click here to read the review.
